Animation Showcase

Over the last year our final year Animation students have explored every facet of Animation, Visual Effects and Motion Design and in their final year projects they have opted to specialise in their preferred areas. From beautifully imagined graphic novels for children and adults, to complex and carefully constructed 2D and 3D animations, every project is anchored in research and development and creative curiosity, brought to life through an array of visual media. 

Once again this year our media students joined with the MTU Cork School of Music students, to bring their stories to life through composition and scores which were recorded on site in CSM facilities. Actors from our Cork campus contributed to films and voiceovers of animations.  

We hope the work is testament to the magic that can happen when great students from Ireland and abroad work together across departments, schools and campuses at MTU.
