When Noah, a young boy with sleep apnea, feels left out after missing a sleepover, he retreats into his drawings of aliens; the one place he belongs. Hoping to lift his spirits, his mum organises a surprise sleepover at home. When his friends discover his sleep machine, Noah bravely shows them his secret ‘alien identity’. Inspired, the kids transform into their own ‘aliens’, and by night’s end, his room becomes a peaceful galaxy where no one is left out. Blending 2D characters and layouts with a stylised 3D environment, Little Aliens explores childhood imagination, differences and the power of friendship to turn what makes us feel isolated into something that brings us together.

Maniparna Misra
Hello! I’m Mani and I’m an artist and storyteller to my very core. I specialize in 2d animating and rigging (specifically Toon boom). However, I also have a passion for 3D layout and sculpting in Blender. I have an Advanced Diploma in Animation from Durham College and am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s from Munster University of Technology (MTU) in Kerry, Ireland. Currently, I’m working on my final year film “Little Aliens” with my wonderful classmates and learning new skills while polishing old ones every day with the help of my mentors and team members.
Yirou Sun
Yirou Sun is a creative scene artist, designer, and 2D animator passionate about constructing emotionally resonant and narratively powerful visual worlds through painting and animation. Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Animation, Visual Effects, and Motion Design at Munster University of Technology (MTU) in Ireland, and is about to graduate. She also holds a solid foundation in animation and fine arts from Algonquin College in Canada, where she graduated with a degree in animation. As a freelance illustrator, she is active in various commissioned projects, treating each frame as an opportunity to tell a story.
