“The Story’s Journey” is a radio documentary about Irish and Chinese mythology and storytelling. Through this documentary we look at how storytelling has changed over the last number of years, doing this through the idea of mythology and folklore, with a main focus on the idea of ‘The Hero’s Journey’. Our documentary is half an hour in length and consists of two main interviews and two side interviews who discuss storytelling, its impact and the future it holds. They also tell us a favourite story of theirs, and there will also be some slight narration from us. The documentary also touches on the future of storytelling and what is in store for it.
