Ziggy the Signing Salamander

My ISL is a show designed to help children from hearing, deaf and hard of hearing backgrounds to learn Irish Sign Language in an extraordinary way. By following the adventures of Ziggy a young deaf Salamander and her best friend and companion the interpreter, as they go on Zany adventures in order to learn more about topics such as colour, sports, etc and learn the Sign Language equivalents for the English words.

This will be taught in the styles of Shows such as Blues Clue’s and Sesame Street where a Live Action actor interacts with an animated character as they traverse through many areas to figure out why the colour in the world is disappearing and finding ways to fix it.

A mixed media piece which incorporates 2D Animation with Compositing and 3D backgrounds.
