Ape Tape: First WAR is a 2D animated short following Emperador, a scrappy emperor tamarin luchador, as he steps into the ring for the fight of his life. Blending the high-energy style of classic Saturday morning action cartoons with the drama of lucha libre, the film is a love letter to bold character animation, built on a hybrid pipeline spanning Toon Boom Harmony, Blender, and Clip Studio Paint.

Hey, I’m Jeremiah Yamoah, an animator and illustrator who’s been making art since he was 4. Ape Tape is the project where everything I’ve learned collides. Outside of animation, I’m into video games, comic books, and keeping active in the gym.
