Mother Gene

In the short film Mother Gene, we follow a young woman who has experienced the loss of her mother when she was a young child and is struggling to cope with the loss on the anniversary of her mother’s death. After seeing a television advert, Racheal considers a prospect she had never considered: reconnecting with her mother using an artificial intelligence app that appears as a hologram.The AI App helps her overcome her grief; in the hope of somehow filling the void. Unfortunately, a glitch in the AI App alters the course of events, and a problem with the AI App puts her in a problematic situation.
